Apple Launches Special Edition Air Pods Pro
The Lunar New Year is celebrated on February 10 and ahead of it, Apple has announced the release of a special edition AirPods Pro to commemorate the upcoming Year of the Dragon. The limited edition AirPods Pro feature a meticulously crafted dragon emblem on the charging case, symbolising strength, good fortune, and prosperity—attributes traditionally associated with the Chinese zodiac sign of the dragon
January 18 to February 13, select countries will be treated to free Lunar New Year-themed Today at Apple sessions, offering fun activities and creative workshops led by local experts. Reports have also suggested that some stores in these countries are decked out with vibrant window decals celebrating the occasion. There is also an exclusive Year of the Dragon wallpaper for your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, available on Apple’s website in Hong Kong.
Which countries will the new AirPods Pro be available?
The special edition AirPods Pro will be available in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Matao. Furthermore, the AirPods will be made available in South Korea where it is the year of the Blue Dragon.
